<-right MarBear, Middle ME, Left Tater TOTS *ha, that is also by birth order as well.*

Clearly in the picture we are at the market, looking very ridiculous, but having way to much fun.

So I haven’t been writing in my blogs lately, I hope you guys didn’t miss me! :)

I have come to a conclusion that life is one big countdown clock, so we need little countdown clocks before the big one runs out. :D I have made myself one, I think everyone should as well.

Okay….so to keep you guys up to date I will give you the download, the 411, FYI! This Summer, has been very different from a typical Summer, but has been one of the most memorable Summers yet! Even though every Summer I think of Congress and miss it very much, even all the crazy hours, those extremely hot showers, extremely cold dorms with out a blanket, the experience of full independence for one full week, having pedometers flushed down toilets, getting lost in a University (which might be a University I might go to never know) oh and how can I forget the crazy insane turtle neck 19 year old guy from Manatee County that asked me out to the ball?! HAHAHA! Poor guy, got kicked out the last day! If you wonder why he got kicked out, its because almost every girl from the whole state complained about him being a nuisance. :) Good times! I KNOW only one person who might read this will know exactly what I am talking about. ;)

But this Summer has been very memorable in so many ways.

Soon I will be going on vacation to St. Pete and Madeira Beach. Two whole weeks of fun in the sun, and sunburn. I will have to remind myself to bring the BIG bottle of Na-PCA! I am excited for that, like I haven’t been on vacation because I had family members ill and in the hospital in such a long time. It will be nice to be away with no parents, and just kind of relax and not worry or stress about anything. Plus it helps that I am going with the BIGGEST clowns I know, my favorite uncle, UNCLE PETE (he is my favorite because he is my only uncle. Well I think he would still be my favorite if I had hundreds of uncles.) my Aunt, Ms. Martha who is really like my second mom/friend/a really cool and nice person to be with, and last but not least my cousin Chik-pik. My uncle has already said to get ready for the Shake Shop, awesome! I went with them a little while back for the weekend. I am so thrilled! Slightly bummed that we can’t go to North Carolina as well, but its still going to be FUN! Although I will miss my baby Marabelle`, D, my Internet and everything in between. So next week today I will be gone! YAY!

Oh MY I heard that Coldplay is coming in town in November close to my birthday if I am correct. I so want to go, but know that I won’t go. So instead I will just buy their CD close my eyes and imagine them in concert. How pathetic is that? I absolutely LOVE the new CD Viva La Vida. I can’t name one song off that whole CD I don’t like. Lovers In Japan/Reign of Fire is one that I am listening to now, oh to see it in concert would be like the coolest thing EVER!

Also…..FLCT has My Fair Lady auditions coming soon. It would be so nice to audition for the heck of it, not take it as serious as I have before. That would be funny, audition just because its something you enjoy and not really care if you make it or not. That would be the time where I actually would make the cut and not be someone in the background or a cover for someone. Ah, but it includes singing, that is where I know I would run into some problems. I don’t like to sing, specially in front of people. Oh well, I guess I will just go and see it when it comes out in production. :) Now I have My Fair Lady songs stuck in my head! So whoever lives in South Florida look up FLCT.org and go try out. It seriously is something you have to do at least once in your life time, the experience alone is amazing! Well, maybe if they happen to do Thoroughly Modern Millie any time soon then I will have to try out, because that is like a musical you don’t hear much about but is so funny, and portrays the 40’s if I am not mistaken. I could go on about how much fun FLCT was.

Unfortunately it is getting late and I should be getting to bed now! So please if you see my grammar becoming poor, understand it is late and I am tired. :) Well Good night everyone. Thanks for reading again, even though it is absolutely nothing of importance, I hope I filled up some time! I will be writing soon!

Song for today’s blog……….”Through Open Eyes” by Snow Patrol

Ha, I tricked you if you thought it was going to be Coldplay! Not this time!

Another Rant By The Hippie! May 24, 2008

<-D

“You can do no great things, just small things with great love.” – Mother Theresa

^ That quote is now my personal motto. I believe that is so true, Mother Theresa is truly an inspiration for me. If I had to choose a modern role model, it would be her. She was just a kind gentle hearted person who loved so many, and helped so many. It is something I can only live up to and strive to achieve. Maybe this is reason number two the Peace Corps is something that really is in my upcoming future.  Like Kennedy said “Do not ask what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” I think if you just revive it and make it do not ask others what they can do for you, but what you can do for others.

Maybe if we all tried to live by that statement, maybe this world might have a better future. We might not see the change while we are alive, but there might be a change for our grandchildren. Some of us are way to young to even think about grandchildren let alone our own children. This is important, more important then “Global Warming” instead of trying to save the earth, maybe we should think the earth will long be here after us, but stop and realize that we should start help saving peoples lives who are dieing from phamon and pleagues around the world.

Yes, going green is a nice thing to try to do, but it is so ridiculous how people won’t use plastic bags, but buy products that have plastic. So if you want to be hardcore, live under a rock. But if you wanna be with the cool crowd and where shirts for organizations you probably don’t even know about, and walk around with peace signs, fine. But if you actually do care, maybe take the 30 dollars you would spend for the WWF shirt (that only $10 of the 30 even goes to the organization) and actually donate it to a cause that you trulydo believe in. If you think that is crazy and you would never spend 30 dollars on a shirt and want to make a difference. I challenge you to do simple things, like go to the mall and don’t buy anything. Since that shirt, is probably not organic and some kind of chemicals were used to make the fabric and dye it and then oil was used to power the machines that made it, and it probably is not even made in America.  Another simple thing you can do is don’t drink anything but water, everything else is held in a metal can that is being found that is bad for our bodies *check your deodorant* if it isn’t in a can it is in a bottle. It takes at least a few hundred years for one bottle (12 oz.) to deterred. Also, get up off your lazy bum and walk, or ride a bike, and maybe oh my, you might get in shape and do your heart good.

Okay, I can continue with that topic. But I won’t, YAY for enviromental science! I would have never even thought of myself getting into a science as a career, because every time I thought of scientists I would think of that song “Blinding Me With Science” and the movie “Flubber”.  Okay, maybe Mother Theresa wasn’t passionate about the enviroment, but she was passionate about people. She showed compassion and love to people where it was most likely not to be found, Calcuta, India.

Okay, so if you read this blog, I know one person reads my blogs. That’s all that matters ;) because I like listening to their opinion, because it is similar to mine, but can still be different. Whoever this person is, is someone that I think fondly of, and you know who you are. Someone that actually reads my blogs, and listens to me complain about my day and other things. They are a true and good friend, that I am grateful to have them in my life. So if your reading this blog and like it leave a comment, because they are always welcomed, positive and negative feedback always make my day. *this goes for anyone reading*

Hopefully it wasn’t just a bunch of rambleings written down on the net.

Okay my lovely readers, you should know what time this is, yup this is where I tell you about cool songs, and you go and listen to them. Because you are cool like that!……….

….NEW! by Coldplay *big fan of them, if you have tickets to their concert don’t forget about your lovely blogger, send me a ticket as well*

Yeah, I do not know how to play video games. Specially if they aren’t racing games. The picture is courtesy of my cousin Nicky, he just was getting “pay back” because I always bug him with pictures. :)

Going down to my aunt and uncle’s place this Sunday again! YAY! That place is the bomb! The other weekend my cousin and I were watching “The Reaping” Sadly I had to leave right when it was getting good. :( My cousin and I never can watch a movie fully in silence, if it isn’t me asking questions to him, or vise versa, or him grabbing me when a movie comes to a scary part. That reminds me, I need to ask my dad if I can go to North Carolina with my aunt, uncle, and cousin for the summer for a week or so. That is just a recipe for crazy insane good times, probably alot of pillow fights, and trying to do morse code with flash lights. Hopefully I can go, I really want to, but I have to ask me dad.

Well, as you can tell from this blog. I am really bored! Okay, now I am off to surf the net, skype, and maybe do some of my chores! Adios!

Story Of A Girl. May 7, 2008

I have been thinking lately, which is RARE! No, not really I use my mind multiple times during the day. :D

How much music influences my life. It always have some relation to how I am feeling that day. It makes me happy, sad, and etc etc.

What else did I ponder about? Hmmm…… I was looking back on my life, and dang it the crazy things I did as a young girl. I wonder if I ever thought of “WHAT” could have happen.  I am trying not to boast about myself. Even though I have a feeling no matter what I say it is going to seem vain, it is not supposed to be vain. If it comes off vain then, cry me a river, I didn’t mean for it to be.

What I am wanting to say is looking back on my life I did some pretty cool stuff, and accomplished a lot more when I wasn’t thinking of the “What ifs” I just did it, and whatever came out of it happened. Good or bad I would grow or learn what to do and what not to do the next time.

Like Edison, how many light bulbs did it take him to figure out how to make that one? It is an argued question on the exact number but I will say at least one thousand tries until he figures out how to make a light bulb work and last longer then two seconds. He said something that has stuck with me.

A reporter asks Edison “How many failed attempts did you make before discovering the right way?”

Edison’s reply ”I never made failed attempts, I just learned 1,000 ways on how NOT to make a light bulb.”

Now what I am saying you never “FAIL” you just learn on ways that don’t work. Okay, I honestly go on with quotes from famous people about Failure. The big thing in common that they all meant was, if I had never failed I would have never had learned the right way of doing it.

I think I did some pretty stupid stuff back then, but now I have so many stories to tell. I know if you know me now you might think of me as different, from the person I was six years ago. I have done somethings some people have never done, or very few people have experienced. I am proud of that, I am less proud of my awards, plaques, trophies, ribbons, badges, and being in the newspaper a few times; then I am of my experiences.

Yes, I had to work my tail off for the awards and stuff. I just don’t think it has given me a lot of things I can say “I did THAT” .  Becasue next year someone else will be rewarded the same. They are nice for college and other things but not as cool as saying that “I sat on a alligator and held its mouth, while being in a pit of 15 other alligators roaming the land.” The story goes more in depth but I won’t get into detail. Yeah, I bet that is a random fact you didn’t know about me.

I guess doing things that average people wouldn’t want to do, has always been apart of me. I have always said that I don’t want to die from old age, I would rather die doing something that not many people are doing. Because at least I had fun, and lived my life and not trying to preserve myself for old people in those museums they call nursing homes. I also say, they ”pretty” old people had no real fun in there life; they must not have had much expression since they aren’t wrinkled like a shirt. I encourage people to do some daring things in their life time. Get some wrinkles on your face, you will enjoy the story telling time of your life to people other then nice looking skin.

If you have a fear, go out there and conquerr your fear. Fear is nothing more then abstinence or courage. We all have fears, for the people who have told me that they don’t believe I have fears or any kind of afobia I won’t tell you them because they are pretty ridiculous when you hear them. (If you really need to know for some odd reason ask me, but not here on my blog.)

So for today’s blog in a nutshell……your life is a book filled with blank pages, it is up to you to pick up the pen and start writing.

Have fun with your life, you only have one.

Okay my lovely readers. Today I have a little list of songs for you since I can’t choose just one.

How To Have Fun With Your Friends Dead Broke….Okay Maybe With Five Dollars In Your Wallet. April 27, 2008

Filed under: Good times, friends, fun, humor, music, wise — taktikphotography @ 4:46 am

<– Honestly, doesn’t it look like we are having fun or what?

I think these pictures of Shy in a red speed car and me in a helicopter proves that you can have a good time no matter what. Well, at least Shy and I can have a fun time together no matter what.  Today was so much fun, we went to the mall, went to “Ruby Tuesdays”  sat down at a booth realized we don’t want to eat at the restaurant anymore just got up and left never telling the waiter. Good times! After stuffing our faces with not the best tasting food, we walked the mall like four times looking stuff for Shy for her prom outfit.

We learned there are many things to learn and do at the mall:

A) Get Kate her Starbucks before she starts shopping.

 B) When bumping into people you know in the mall just look at them make a suprised face and walk away. Or if you do not like this person grab your friend and run inside a store. LOL!

C) Churros and Starbucks is a hard choice

D) Always….go in the photo booth to document your fun day with you and your friend(s) and laugh on how bad your pictures turned out, but learn to love them.

E) If you want to get attention in the mall, no need to wear some high fashion outfit or having an entourage……just contort your body into a toddler mall ride and have your friend take a picture of you while people are walking by laughing so hard their faces are turning red, make sure your friend as well stops crying from laughing soo hard at you. Smile and take the picture and try not to get stuck.

F) Make sure that you don’t have to call the fire department to bring the jaws of life and get you out of that small thing in the first place.

G) When going to a fitting room in a department store like JcP, go to the lingrie department. Shy and I discovered that it is less crowded, and well much bigger and nicer for some odd reason.

H) The most important thing make your own fun. Everything can be fun and enjoyable, you just have to have the right people and not really care how stupid and well, retarded you may look. Because the more retarded you might seem to other people, the more you are having fun. *Note: Don’t be retarded and harm people or yourself, that is just plain stupid.*  If you are to mature all the time you won’t have any fun.  You can have fun no matter what it is you are doing. Also, if you do something as stupid as me in the helicoptor, make sure you are bendy so it is easier to get OUT of it.

:D

For my readers I have a few helpful words that came from a very wise person. I remember it everytime I am down in the dumps, it lifts your spirits.

Dont worry about a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right.
dont worry about a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right!

Rise up this mornin,
Smiled with the risin sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin, this is my message to you.

Wise words from one of the best singers EVER! Bob Marley. Ya, Mon!

I wonder what my song will be for this blog? My lovely readers, for this blog I have for you…..”Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley.

“You will find the light in the darkness”

The title of this blog has nothing to do at all with the actual blog itself. It is an inside joke, and only a few people will understand. Anyways since that is not the point.

This blog really has no point. It is just be really lazy, not wanting to go to bed and read. I enjoy reading, but there are other things I wish I could be doing. Like blowing bubbles, blowing bubbles for some reason gets my creative mojo flowing. Plus, it is cute to watch my dog run around trying to catch and eat the bubbles. Today was fun, I went to the doctors and he said that I am doing much better in recovering which is always a plus. Today’s weather was absoulutly wonderful, the bad thing about it being so cold is that when you wake up in the morning the thought of leaving you bed which is warm due to you wrapped up like a butterfly in the caccoon. Also, then leaving your bed clothes to go into day clothes that are cold not as comfortable as your bedtime clothes. That is the only downfall to cold weather, other then that it is nice to know that when you step outside you won’t start sweating and blast the cars a/c. You can actually roll down your windows and drive turn off your a/c save some gas.

Well after the doctors I went to BJ’s and can’t resist and help myself to walk by the book section. Normally it is torture because I spend hours standing there reading books writing the names down for my “Get these books” list. Today I saw a book I have been stumbleing across lately on-line and always curious to see what exactly is in this book?!  If you have ever heard of the book “The Daring Book For Girls” I have to say, it may seem like it would only be a little girl’s book, it actually isn’t it has some good stuff inside! I have even done one of the crafts they have. It is a Mexican God’s Eye, it is fun and easy to make. Look at it if you ever stumble across it in a book store.

So basically today was a get back in touch with you inner child day for me. Blowing bubbles, arts and crafts. Just a fun day!

Song for this blog is……..’Till Kingdom Come by Coldplay.

Family April 8, 2008

Filed under: changing the world, family, friends, fun, holidays, humor, movies books, music, vacation — taktikphotography @ 4:12 am

Family is a big part of my life. Even though they might not be all that sane some times, or even concur with me. They have always been there for me and always will be. In the picture above, it is a picture of my cousin and me on my parents boat. We went on a short little cruise for spring break, and well let just make this as simple as ABC.

My cousin Nicky and I go way back. Ever since I can remember, we have always been in some silly argument like who gets the remote, what we watch, what game we play, what movie to watch, and this list can go on for miles. On this trip we had so much fun even though all the parents hear is “your such a cheater. CHEATER!” “I am not the cheater, Cheater, your the cheater” never play ‘uno’ or any kind of card game with the two of us.

The truth is, even though the parents hear our argueing we are actually pretty much inseperable when we are together. We sing, dance, laugh *at each other*, talk about nonsense, take pictures, and well always look out for one another. No one else but me can mess with Nicky, we are there for each other no matter if the other one likes it at the time. Being raised in a family where family is everything the backbone to life, I can’t see not loving my cousin as much as I do.

I know some families barely communicate or never see or talk to each other. But if I didn’t have my family I don’t think I could survive. After coming back from a family friend’s brother’s funeral I realized how much family is. No, I didn’t have Nicky with me, even though I missed him and wanted somebody to bug. I think everyone should mend their ties or bond with their family no matter what. If you don’t have family, create one. That is the best family you can ever have, you can actually choose your family. Friends are also a good thing because after the years of joy and tears they become like family.

Family should be the most important thing you can ever have. Because, no matter what, they will be there with you.

Shout-out and random things that come to mind. March 30, 2008

Filed under: baking, changing the world, family, friends, fun, humor, making a difference, vacation — taktikphotography @ 4:15 am

1-31-2008-078.jpg   Today was fun, I also want to start out by giving a shout out to one of the coolest people I know and you wish you knew. To my little cousin Nicky! It is his sweet sixteenth birthday today. Fun kid, we are closer then bubble in bubblegum yeah. If you are around when we are together, we will probably be arguing about something pretty silly. Even though we love each other so much we are more like brother and sister then cousins. Even though we have some good memories together like our vacation to Madera Beach for Labor Day weekend. That is one of my favorite memory with him, we saw a wild manatee in the ocean which was like 5 feet away from me in the water. So shout out to my home boy Asiababasia! Happy birthday Chicken!

We went to Dave & Busters and played video games for a good two hours. We surprised Chicken at D&B since he thought me and my family wouldn’t be joining him for his birthday. I did bake him some Brownies, well lets just say sitting in a hot car for a few hours over baked them and well they were hard as rocks. I now have to bake him another batch of brownies that is not rock solid. Also, fun news Nicky has Spring Break this coming week and my parents might be going on a trip on the sail boat. So, Nicky might come with us for a few days on the sailboat, that means I have someone to talk to. You might be thinking, but taK-tiK you and Chicken always fight. True, but we always have fun when we are together.  I will take a gazillion pictures which will drive him crazy, and he will keep poking me or tickling me the whole time. That is pretty much how it will work, we will have oodles of fun.

Also, I have been in extremely good moods if you have noticed lately. It is because things have been going pretty good so far. I am just pondering about how exactly I can try to change the world and or give back to the earth. I am trying to think, would it be THAT hard like everyone thinks it is or have they ever even tried? I mean how can you know what you can and can’t do if you never try?  Think about it, if everybody tried something that they thought they could never do but only in their dreams, what impact would they make? What if someone thought up of a theory and never tried it, would it have made a difference or would have it made it one closer in discovering something brilliant and never thought of before. I think more people should live in a state of mind in trying everything they can and are able to do. Even if you are not “able” to do it, still try to do it. (Please don’t take my advice to any extremes, I am not liable if you do. Think on your own, use the most powerful thing you can ever have which is your head.)

X-Rays! March 27, 2008

Filed under: fun, humor — taktikphotography @ 3:15 am

hahaha1.jpg  So I got some X-Rays of my back. Which is very scary, since I never had X-Rays before. Of coarse my back is screwed up like I predicted, but it has done some very little nerve damage. Which is better then no motor skills in my leg. So I do have a pinched nerve in my back that has been hurting me for 6 months now.  So today, I was X-Rayed, Reflexed, Pulled and tugged in many ways.  I just realized I have a major fear of Doctors even the kind that don’t have needles. I got this huge knot in my stomach when I went to my doctor, sadly it is still there.

So, basically Friday I have to go back to the guy that tortures me and my parents pay for. I know it is for the best and I wanted it, but it is just scary. I just wish and pray I don’t need more then 1 treatment. Pray for me and that I will heal fast and don’t need more then one treatment, because my doctor is nice I am just scared to death.

Note: Never put your kid through any kind of sport or dance for a long period of time. It screws up their back, and gives them problems later on.

So now I am nervous for Friday and don’t want it to come, because I don’t want to get hurt. Ahhhh…..I can see it now it will take three nurses, the doctor and my mom to get me in the exam room. That would actually be pretty funny.

Well, tata for now!

Easter is coming! March 5, 2008

Filed under: baking, cooking, holidays, humor — taktikphotography @ 1:00 am

2309402116_e9d863286e.jpg  Hop on the bunny train with me and do the bunny hop for old time sake. Lets make new memories this spring and spring forward and wait for the sun to come out and the flowers to bloom.

Easter for some reason is one of my favorite holidays. Christmas is my first, Thanksgiving and then Easter. Those three holidays I go all out and go crazy when it comes to baking. You name it i will or have baked it. I always make a cake, cupcakes, cookies, and alot more other sweets. I think it is my goal when I grow up to be like a person straight out of ‘Candy Land’ always having treats. I normally don’t eat everything I bake because if I did I would be put into acoma.

Christmas I bake: Chocolate covered Pretzels, Ginger bread dudes, (I call them dudes because I live in Florida) Sugar cookies, mini pecan pies, Snow Ball cookies, and (if your lucky) Orange chocolate cupcakes with a orange flavored home-made butter-cream icing.

Thanksgiving is more just pie and cake.

Easter I bake: Chocolate eggs, Cupcakes, Easter cake, (its a fruity cake that my mom makes more then me) cookies, and last year some other Hungarian treats.

So I am sooo excited to bake and make some new and different recipes. Yummy, my friends always get some. So don’t worry if you know me personally, you will get some. I am just really excited to try some cake decorating tricks I am learning. So watch out when I come around Easter time, Richard Simmons just LOVES me during the holiday seasons! LOL! (Get it?!)

Well that’s all for now!
