How To Have Fun With Your Friends Dead Broke….Okay Maybe With Five Dollars In Your Wallet. April 27, 2008

Filed under: Good times, friends, fun, humor, music, wise — taktikphotography @ 4:46 am

<– Honestly, doesn’t it look like we are having fun or what?

I think these pictures of Shy in a red speed car and me in a helicopter proves that you can have a good time no matter what. Well, at least Shy and I can have a fun time together no matter what.  Today was so much fun, we went to the mall, went to “Ruby Tuesdays”  sat down at a booth realized we don’t want to eat at the restaurant anymore just got up and left never telling the waiter. Good times! After stuffing our faces with not the best tasting food, we walked the mall like four times looking stuff for Shy for her prom outfit.

We learned there are many things to learn and do at the mall:

A) Get Kate her Starbucks before she starts shopping.

 B) When bumping into people you know in the mall just look at them make a suprised face and walk away. Or if you do not like this person grab your friend and run inside a store. LOL!

C) Churros and Starbucks is a hard choice

D) Always….go in the photo booth to document your fun day with you and your friend(s) and laugh on how bad your pictures turned out, but learn to love them.

E) If you want to get attention in the mall, no need to wear some high fashion outfit or having an entourage……just contort your body into a toddler mall ride and have your friend take a picture of you while people are walking by laughing so hard their faces are turning red, make sure your friend as well stops crying from laughing soo hard at you. Smile and take the picture and try not to get stuck.

F) Make sure that you don’t have to call the fire department to bring the jaws of life and get you out of that small thing in the first place.

G) When going to a fitting room in a department store like JcP, go to the lingrie department. Shy and I discovered that it is less crowded, and well much bigger and nicer for some odd reason.

H) The most important thing make your own fun. Everything can be fun and enjoyable, you just have to have the right people and not really care how stupid and well, retarded you may look. Because the more retarded you might seem to other people, the more you are having fun. *Note: Don’t be retarded and harm people or yourself, that is just plain stupid.*  If you are to mature all the time you won’t have any fun.  You can have fun no matter what it is you are doing. Also, if you do something as stupid as me in the helicoptor, make sure you are bendy so it is easier to get OUT of it.

:D

For my readers I have a few helpful words that came from a very wise person. I remember it everytime I am down in the dumps, it lifts your spirits.

Dont worry about a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right.
dont worry about a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right!

Rise up this mornin,
Smiled with the risin sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin, this is my message to you.

Wise words from one of the best singers EVER! Bob Marley. Ya, Mon!

I wonder what my song will be for this blog? My lovely readers, for this blog I have for you…..”Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley.

“You will find the light in the darkness”

JUST DO IT!!!! April 23, 2008

I want to start off saying HAPPY EARTH DAY! Yes, I know I am a Hippie,  and I am proud of it. I have been working on a painting that is of a picture of an owl, the earth, and a Sunflower and it says “Give A Hoot Don’t Pollute” in honor of Earth Day.  Even though I am horriable at drawing or painting it is fun and relaxing.

Today Kelsey and I went to the mall to hang out. It was so much fun, we talked, grabed a bite to eat at California Pizza which has the best pizza by the way. Kels did most of the shopping and she even bought me a Owl necklace! Thanks again, your awesome. She is really cool, we caught up with each other and talked about everything. Prom is going to be so much fun, Shy, Kels, and I are going to gt ready at my house and then in Las Olas, we are going to grab a bite to eat. Sadly this Friday we can’t do our girl night hang out, Kels has a Wedding to go to. *tear* I will miss her! Kelsey and I were making up a list of all the things we are going to do over the summer, and other times tonight. HAHA! We are going to go traveling and hopefully come to South America with me *wink* and have a little party! I am thrilled to see what comes in the future!

Talking about the future, I was just thinking about how many times people say in the future I want to do this and so on. Like as if when you become of any age the magical wand is waved above your head and life becomes Joyful, Fun, and Blissful with no problems.

Honestly, when we become that age we have always wanted to become and all that fun stuff we planned in our youth we never do. We again daydream about the future and what we will do at that time in our lives. Why don’t we just realize that when we were 10 and wanted to be 16 because that is a “Sweet” year and we will then just start having relationships, parties, hangouts, dates, do whatever we want basically. But when we become 16 we want to be 18 were we are no longer under our parents rule, we can smoke, we are legal adults according to the government.

Once again this disease happens once again, we are 18 we want to be 21 we can drink, for some of us we are almost done with college. This isn’t just a little thing, this is time, and your life, how are you going to live it? Are you going to get this disease of wanting to be older, because fill in the blank, we want to drive, drink, smoke, gamble, marry our love, have children, watch our children grow, the list can go on. It is a disease that you won’t realize you had until you stop and notice that you are old, you are going to die soon and you look upon your life and wonder what you did wrong. You are going to think, well I was a good person, I was nice, or whatever you do.

The thing you will know you did wrong was never live in the moment, always wanted something you didn’t have, but then regretting what you did which is youth. You will die wondering if I just DID that instead of thinking what I would DO, you would have accomplished so much more then you could ever imagine. Even if you are shaking like a leaf just do it, if you have the chance to. You won’t regret it.  You will regret the things you didn’t do, not the things you did do.

Today, I am debuting Landon Pigg in “Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop” that is the song above the blog itself. Enjoy the music, until next time! I am out!

Stay safe, and JUST DO IT!

No point in reading this….Really, DON’T! April 21, 2008

I am extremly bored, solitare is starting to become my vice, since people on Skype are in Paris having fun. School is tomorrow, I am finally caught up with my History, THANK GOD! Now that I think about it, I have a quiz and two essays due by tuesday and I barely did any research for them. Oh well, they will just be posted late, good thing about being homeschooled I set my own sched.

Now that I have all this time to do nothing, but play solitare, surf the net, and I found out that I am horriable at painting but it is relaxing and fun. So that is basically what I have been doing, on my weekend. I have to say the highlight of my weekend was Friday night at Kelsey’s house playing Xbox live. Good times, I haven’t laughed so hard and ate that many pizza rolls in one night before.

I wonder how long will it take my this time to think up of a blog. I really don’t feel like I have anything to talk about, only my crappy weekend. I am still mad at myself for going to the beach, and like ten minutes AFTER I left my house, I get a chat from Paris and completely miss it. I know no one will understand the importance of the chat from Paris…….but I can tell you it made the whole weekend and probably week a bad one. I mean I am happy that I got a chat, but I am depressed that I missed it!

Well this blog was pointless……..I guess I am off to play solitare…..woo-hoo!

  Take care my readers!

The title of this blog has nothing to do at all with the actual blog itself. It is an inside joke, and only a few people will understand. Anyways since that is not the point.

This blog really has no point. It is just be really lazy, not wanting to go to bed and read. I enjoy reading, but there are other things I wish I could be doing. Like blowing bubbles, blowing bubbles for some reason gets my creative mojo flowing. Plus, it is cute to watch my dog run around trying to catch and eat the bubbles. Today was fun, I went to the doctors and he said that I am doing much better in recovering which is always a plus. Today’s weather was absoulutly wonderful, the bad thing about it being so cold is that when you wake up in the morning the thought of leaving you bed which is warm due to you wrapped up like a butterfly in the caccoon. Also, then leaving your bed clothes to go into day clothes that are cold not as comfortable as your bedtime clothes. That is the only downfall to cold weather, other then that it is nice to know that when you step outside you won’t start sweating and blast the cars a/c. You can actually roll down your windows and drive turn off your a/c save some gas.

Well after the doctors I went to BJ’s and can’t resist and help myself to walk by the book section. Normally it is torture because I spend hours standing there reading books writing the names down for my “Get these books” list. Today I saw a book I have been stumbleing across lately on-line and always curious to see what exactly is in this book?!  If you have ever heard of the book “The Daring Book For Girls” I have to say, it may seem like it would only be a little girl’s book, it actually isn’t it has some good stuff inside! I have even done one of the crafts they have. It is a Mexican God’s Eye, it is fun and easy to make. Look at it if you ever stumble across it in a book store.

So basically today was a get back in touch with you inner child day for me. Blowing bubbles, arts and crafts. Just a fun day!

Song for this blog is……..’Till Kingdom Come by Coldplay.

Thinking. April 15, 2008

Filed under: changing the world, making a difference, music, thinking, wise — taktikphotography @ 3:11 am

Why is that when we sit down by ourselves and “think” we can never come to a conclusion about anything? Then also why is it when we are not thinking we think up of soulutions to things we were thinking about earlier? Is two heads better then one? Or is one head better then two heads if that one head isn’t “thinking”?

Do great philosiphers sit down and think up good philoshpys, or do they live life and then  come to conclusion of good ideas when they are not doing at what they are known best for doing which is thinking?  I mean famous quotes that are resited today weren’t a good quote because some man sat down and thought of a sentence. There was a build up to what they said and why they said it. So does that make wise people great philosphers of our time? Maybe it does, the reason why the great philosphers like Plato, Aristotile, and Ect. get there fame by not being afraid of what they say?

What would happen if more people spoke up? Would the world be wiser, or just full of non-sense jibber jabber? Bloggers, they might write a beautiful piece but because of the popularity of the internet is so vast they might never be heard. If people make their voices louder then just writing a few pages long blog on a website, would it prove that the world has great thinkers like there was in history? Or will it prove that everyone is a bigit, slightly cocky and big headed?

These are just some things that I have been mulling around in my head for the past few days. What I hate the most about blogging is, that I will get an idea for a blog but don’t have the time to write it at that moment. I can’t keep the inspiration for my new blog in my head for that long so I always loose it. If I just simply write down a note to myself about a new blog it won’t have the same spirit it did in the begining. Maybe it proves that it isn’t all that important or it doesn’t have enough spark of fire then I think it does at the time.

The song for the blog is……..”I Find The Light In You” by Joe Brooks.

Stay safe, until next time!

Family April 8, 2008

Filed under: changing the world, family, friends, fun, holidays, humor, movies books, music, vacation — taktikphotography @ 4:12 am

Family is a big part of my life. Even though they might not be all that sane some times, or even concur with me. They have always been there for me and always will be. In the picture above, it is a picture of my cousin and me on my parents boat. We went on a short little cruise for spring break, and well let just make this as simple as ABC.

My cousin Nicky and I go way back. Ever since I can remember, we have always been in some silly argument like who gets the remote, what we watch, what game we play, what movie to watch, and this list can go on for miles. On this trip we had so much fun even though all the parents hear is “your such a cheater. CHEATER!” “I am not the cheater, Cheater, your the cheater” never play ‘uno’ or any kind of card game with the two of us.

The truth is, even though the parents hear our argueing we are actually pretty much inseperable when we are together. We sing, dance, laugh *at each other*, talk about nonsense, take pictures, and well always look out for one another. No one else but me can mess with Nicky, we are there for each other no matter if the other one likes it at the time. Being raised in a family where family is everything the backbone to life, I can’t see not loving my cousin as much as I do.

I know some families barely communicate or never see or talk to each other. But if I didn’t have my family I don’t think I could survive. After coming back from a family friend’s brother’s funeral I realized how much family is. No, I didn’t have Nicky with me, even though I missed him and wanted somebody to bug. I think everyone should mend their ties or bond with their family no matter what. If you don’t have family, create one. That is the best family you can ever have, you can actually choose your family. Friends are also a good thing because after the years of joy and tears they become like family.

Family should be the most important thing you can ever have. Because, no matter what, they will be there with you.

A Philosipher once said “Are we human because we gaze at the stars? Or do we gaze at them because we are human?”   What a lovely quote when I first heard it. What does it mean exacatlly is another question. If you have watched the lovely movie “Stardust” you would have recognized the quote.

The question is quiet complex and deep. Dogs, cats, everything living gaze at the stars, but that does not make them human.  I think we are human because we want to know the deeper meaning of how they got there, and how we got here then anything else. We have studied the stars for centuries, we learn new things  about them everytime.  So why do we gaze at the stars for all the time we do? Is it because they grab our attention, and shine so bright at night. Or is it because someone started to look up?

Also from another movie “A Knight’s Tale” they said “We can not change our stars”. But can we change our stars? Easier said then done but if you try then we could, no?  When they talk about changing stars, they are talking about your destiny. The question is, is our destiny irreversable? I mean, it is a small choice you might make, but the affects might be larger then anyone could fathom. But, if you are born into a poor family, that does not mean you will live the same life. Only if you follow the footsteps of the person that is in that situation. But that doesn’t mean the child born into a wealthy family will continue to be wealthy. The people that the media talk about the most, for example: Mel Gibson, Tom Hanks, Donald Trump, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the list can go on and on they were below average when they were discovered. Some lived in a car with their family and barely could buy food. So they changed their stars by a few choices they made. M. Monroe said ” In Hollywood, they will pay you a million dollars for a on screen kiss, but only give 25 cents for your soul” money is not the key in life. It is only there to keep you living, but not to live for it.

Then we gaze at the stars and we can’t rearrange them, some of them don’t even exist anymore. So it is evident that we can not change our stars since we can not change stars or even hold them in our hand?
